Ivana Müller’s work has been described as “uncompromising theatre, scrutinizing many concepts and ideas that are usually taken for granted.” Her pieces are poetic and scientific, philosophical and humorous, intimate and political at the same time.
Most of her work is made for theatres, although she also creates in the visual art context. Her work has been shown throughout Europe, in USA and recently in Asia.
Some of the recurring subjects in Ivana Müller’s work are body and its representation, self-invention, place of imaginary and imagination and relationship between the performer and spectator.
Ivana Müller is one of the founding members of the association LISA (Amsterdam).
Originally from Croatia, she lives and works in Amsterdam and Paris.
